Plasmolifting

Plasmolifting is a medical technology of treatment and rejuvenation by injecting the patient’s own plasma enriched with platelets. Plasmolifting is an absolutely natural procedure, during which no chemicals are used. The effect of plasmolifting is based on a mechanism that activates the reserves of the patient’s body and starts the process of regeneration of its own connective tissue cells through the introduction of enriched plasma.

Plasma is the liquid part of the blood, containing vital elements and substances such as uric acid, bilirubin, salts, vitamins C and D, insulin, estrogens, minerals, hormones, enzymes, etc.

In the process of plasmolifting, plasma is enriched with active factors released from platelets, which have a number of useful properties.

Indications for plasmolifting

Deterioration of the skin condition associated with age-related changes in tissues (among the signs: lethargy, dullness, dryness, peeling, loss of elasticity)
The appearance of age and mimic wrinkles
Photodamage and photoaging of the skin (symptoms: uneven pigmentation, rough rough texture, the appearance of a network of fine wrinkles)
Primary signs of skin prolapse (gravitational ptosis) of the face and neck
Restoration of facial skin after deep peeling procedures: both chemical and laser
Primary signs of skin prolapse (gravitational ptosis) of the face and neck
Treatment of acne (acne) as part of complex therapy
Baldness (alopecia) and hair loss
Age over 25 years

11 reasons to do plasmolifting

Plasmolifting stops the process of dying off hair follicles and naturally stimulates hair growth.
Thanks to plasmolifting, the skin condition improves not only externally. Positive changes occur at the cellular level
Even old wrinkles are smoothed out
Pigmentation disappears
Scars left after acne disappear
Removes stretch marks caused by weight loss
The function of the sebaceous glands is normalized
Prolongation (usually within one year) of the process of skin cell renewal, and as a result – skin regeneration
Slows down the aging process in the body
No side effects and complications: as already mentioned, the injection is prepared from the patient’s own blood plasma. Plasmolifting allows everyone to look better by activating the protective properties of the body itself
Plasmolifting is especially effective for women during menopause, when especially careful skin care is required.

Plasmolifting procedure

The procedure is completely safe and comfortable. This is exactly the same intravenous blood sampling as in traditional tests. After sampling, the blood is purified, transferred to a special centrifuge, and divided into three fractions: – platelet-poor plasma, – platelet-rich plasma, – erythrocytes.

The separation process (separation of blood into fractions) takes only 10 minutes. The plasma obtained in this way is injected into the areas of interest by injection at certain points of the face, the periorbital zone (the skin around the eyes), the neck and décolleté, the inner surface of the shoulders and hands.

Naturally, the plasmolifting procedure itself is preceded by a consultation, at which the specialist informs the patient in detail about all its features, gives recommendations on preparation and prescribes the optimal number of procedures. In most cases, 2-4 treatments are performed with an interval of one week to achieve the optimal result. The maximum number of plasmolifting courses per year is 2.

Preparation for plasmolifting

Two days before the procedure, it is undesirable to eat spicy, salty, fried, fatty foods, take alcohol, strong tea and coffee.
At least 5 hours before the procedure, you must stop eating. Only a light carbohydrate breakfast is allowed.
Plentiful drinking is recommended.
A prerequisite before the plasmolifting procedure is superficial peeling (exfoliation), which allows you to remove the upper stratum corneum, thereby contributing to the “start” of tissue regeneration processes.
In most cases, the procedure is carried out in the first half of the day, up to 12 hours.

Recommendations for patients after plasmolifting

Do not use cosmetics for 12 hours after the procedure
To avoid hyperpigmentation at the injection site, visits to the solarium and prolonged exposure to the sun for a week after the procedure are prohibited.
During the first three days after the plasmolifting procedure, it is not recommended to visit the bath, sauna and solarium
It is useful to keep in mind that after the plasmolifting procedure, a temporary exacerbation of certain diseases is possible (for example, in the treatment of acne)
A slight swelling of the soft tissues in the injection area can be observed from 2 to 6 hours.

The result will not be long in coming

You will find pleasant results after the first procedure. The structure of the skin will be restored, its color will improve, it will become smoother and more elastic. After the second procedure, skin elasticity and tone increase, signs of age-related changes disappear, wrinkles are smoothed out. More than 90% of women who have undergone plasmolifting claim that the skin becomes 5 years younger. If we talk about the benefits of plasmolifting for hair, then here the result will appear very soon: two days after the procedure, hair loss noticeably decreases, and after the course it stops completely.

Contraindications to Plasmolifting

Allergic reactions to anticoagulants (heparin)
Blood disorders, including bleeding disorders
Diseases of the skin of an allergic, autoimmune and fungal nature (psoriasis, neurodermatitis, etc.)
Oncological diseases
Diabetes mellitus (in the stage of decompensation)
Acute inflammatory processes in the injection area

To date, plasmolifting is one of the most popular, safe and effective procedures. To obtain an even more effective result, plasmolifting is combined with basic therapeutic cosmetic procedures. Amazing results satisfy even the most demanding patients.
