Some useful tips from dentists

More recently, dental scientists have shared with the world some thoughts about the so-called golden rules of dental hygiene, the validity of which they doubt. In addition, doctors gave a number of useful recommendations for those who are not indifferent to the health of their own teeth and who want to keep them healthy and beautiful for as long as possible.

The first thing that was questioned was the effectiveness of coconut water. There is an opinion among the people that regular rinsing of the mouth with coconut water can completely replace the toothbrush. Allegedly, such water kills all microbes in the oral cavity, and brushing your teeth becomes simply unnecessary. In fact, coconut water can in no way be an alternative to classic toothbrushing, and if you neglect the latter, then your teeth will soon be affected by caries.

Doctors also do not recommend brushing your teeth immediately after eating breakfast. The fact is that acidic foods and drinks quickly eat into the enamel, and using a toothbrush after breakfast can only aggravate this process. You should brush your teeth after 30-40 minutes after eating, and rinsing your mouth with ordinary water is undesirable, because it will simply wash out all the fluoride. Dentists advise you to simply spit toothpaste.

And, of course, the experts drew attention to the absence of any restrictions on the number of teeth brushing. They can be cleaned and 2, and 3, and even 10 times a day. The problem is that about 40% of people sometimes don’t do it even once, and if they do, they spend 40 seconds brushing instead of the recommended two minutes.
